7 우리는 두로를 출발하여 항해를 계속하여 돌레마이에 이르렀습니다. 우리는 그 곳의 형제들과 인사를 하고 그들과 함께 하루를 지냈습니다. 8 이튿날, 우리는 돌레마이를 떠나 가이사랴로 갔습니다. 그 곳에서 일곱 집사 가운데 한 사람인 전도자 빌립의 집에 들어가 그와 함께 지냈습니다. 9 빌립에게는 결혼하지 않은 네 딸이 있었습니다. 그들은 모두 예언하는 사람이었습니다. 10 우리가 여러 날, 그 곳에 머물고 있는 동안, 아가보라는 예언자가 유대에서 내려왔습니다. 11 그가 우리에게 와서 바울의 허리띠를 가져다가 자기 손과 발을 묶고 말했습니다. "성령께서 예루살렘에 사는 유대인들이 이 허리띠 임자를 이와 같이 묶어서 이방인들에게 넘겨 줄 것이라고 말씀하십니다." 12 우리는 그 말을 듣고 그 곳 사람들과 함께 바울에게 예루살렘에 올라가지 말라고 간곡하게 말했습니다. 13 그 때, 바울은 이렇게 대답했습니다. 7 We continued our voyage from Tyre and landed at Ptolemais, where we greeted the brothers and sisters and stayed with them for a day. 8 Leaving the next day, we reached Caesarea and stayed at the house of Philip the evangelist, one of the Seven. 9 He had four unmarried daughters who prophesied. 10 After we had been there a number of days, a prophet named Agabus came down from Judea. 11 Coming over to us, he took Paul's belt, tied his own hands and feet with it and said, "The Holy Spirit says, 'In this way the Jewish leaders in Jerusalem will bind the owner of this belt and will hand him over to the Gentiles.'" 12 When we heard this, we and the people there pleaded with Paul not to go up to Jerusalem. 13 Then Paul answered, "Why are you weeping and breaking my heart? I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die in Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus." 14 When he would not be dissuaded, we gave up and said, "The Lord's will be done." 15 After this, we started on our way up to Jerusalem. 16 Some of the disciples from Caesarea accompanied us and brought us to the home of Mnason, where we were to stay. He was a man from Cyprus and one of the early disciples.

It is built through small daily practices—accepting small losses, apologizing first even when we've done nothing wrong, forgiving even when we've been deceived again. "A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step."
3. Discerning the Pleas of Loved Ones: Sometimes the advice of those who love us most can become the greatest obstacle to following God's will. Just as Jesus said to Peter, "Get behind me, Satan!" when Peter said "This shall never happen to you," we must be able to refuse even the words of loved ones if they contradict God's will.
